While some of these songs have melodic notes, there’s also a thread of dissension or discord/ dischord. most of them are from the 90s and I’d long forgotten many, or never heard others. But they all just seemed to fit together. Oh and if don’t notice in the videos (see the SplashCast player), every band has at least one female vocalist (though Black Francis/ Frank Black takes the lead in The Pixies Here Comes Your Man).
